With an intention to convey a message of a pollution-free setting and ladies empowerment within the society, two ladies from Bihar and Uttarakhand have began a biking expedition from the Wagah border to Arunachal Pradesh.
“Our motive is to unfold the message of girls empowerment. We are going to go until Arunachal. The Uttarakhand authorities is supporting us,” says one of many two ladies, Suruti Rawat.
“I’m from Uttarkashi district. We’re beginning a trans-Himalaya biking expedition with an intention of spreading consciousness concerning ladies empowerment and clear Himalaya. This expedition will start in Arunachal Pradesh. We are going to talk with totally different folks throughout our journey,” she added.
The expedition will culminate in Uttarakhand, which is round 5,000 kilometers from the Wagah border. Their journey will go from eight states of the nation.
Director Common (DIG), BSF, Bhupinder Singh flagged off the biking expedition from the Attari-Wagah border yesterday.
One other girl, Sawita Mahtav mentioned, “I’m from Bihar and our essential motive is to maintain mom earth clear and pollution-free. One other prime motto is to advertise ladies empowerment, we’ll go to faculties and schools to tell ladies and women about their rights. Our focus is to empower the younger technology.”
